The Paris Public Prosecutor's Office has opened a preliminary investigation targeting Pierre Palmade after a report for "possession of child pornography images".

The Parisian home of the comedian, involved in a road accident case which occurred on February 10, was searched this Sunday.

Europe 1 takes stock of the investigation.

This is a new investigation which is not directly linked to the one opened after the car accident caused by Pierre Palmade.

This one, led by the Paris prosecutor's office, stands for "possession of child pornography images".

It all starts with a report made by a man to the police on Saturday afternoon by dialing 17. The individual says he is close to the comedian and would have indicated that he had in his possession videos and audio recordings proving that Pierre Palmade had child pornography images.

The author of this report was heard on Sunday by investigators from the Minors Protection Brigade in order to verify in particular whether these accusations were founded.

The individual says he suffers from depression

According to a source close to the investigation, the individual in question said he shared several evenings with a sexual connotation with the actor, the last of which would date from mid-January.

The comedian would even have prided himself on being able to be offered two children aged 7 and 9 in order to commit sexual acts on them.

Still according to the statements of this relative, Pierre Palmade would also have made him watch the beginning of a child pornography video without the author of this report being able to clearly identify the comedian on the said video.

According to this same source, the individual also says he suffers from depression and has been seeing a psychologist regularly for a few days.

According to his statements, he must start treatment very soon.
