Maddie McCann case: a young Polish woman is convinced to be the girl who disappeared in 2007

Julia, 21, alerts Internet users.

Five days ago, she created an Instagram account named "iammadeleinemccan" (I am Madeleine McCan).

She compares photos of her and the girl who disappeared 16 years ago while on vacation in Portugal with her parents.

And the similarities are disturbing.

An age discrepancy

Moles located in exactly the same place and an identical spot in the right eye, distinctive signs presented in all the search notices of the time.

But there is a certain inconsistency on one point: the ages do not match.

Maddie would be 19 today, two years younger than Julia.

For the young Polish, it does not change anything.

"According to my identity documents, I am 21 years old, but I think that when people kidnap a child, they also change their information. I have problems with post-traumatic amnesia. I have very little memories of my childhood until I was 14 years old”, reports the young woman in a video posted on her Instagram account.

A DNA test

Several times Julia questioned her parents, who always remained very evasive about her childhood.

So, to dispel any doubt, the young woman asks for a DNA test "Help me, I need to speak to Kate and Gerry McCann. I think I could be Madeleine", can we read in the biography of the Instagram account "iammadeleinemccan".

And according to the British press, one of the members of the McCann family would have agreed to submit to it. 

Since 2020, a German repeat offender has been suspected of Maddie's murder.

He has been in prison since and under an arrest warrant for five rape cases.
