THE WARREN FILES: THE ENFIELD CASE (HBO Max)

Horror movie lovers know well that the

Warren File

saga does not disappoint.

In this second installment,

Ed and Lorraine Warren go to a house in north London to defuse a situation

that is making a family nervous.

Entering the living room or a room was never so scary due to the

threat of some spirits

.

And, on top of that, everything is based on real events... Subscribe here to HBO Spain.

nope!

(Apple TV, Movistar Plus+)

Jordan Peele

, the director who left us in a bad mood with

Let Me Out

and

Us

, has done it again with a story that, like those, begins smoothly and ends with a big surprise.

Nothing less than

a threat that comes from heaven

and that has as protagonists a couple of brothers (and a dependent) in a small town in the interior of California.

What is up there is better not to know in advance.

HALLOWEEN: THE END (Movistar Plus+)

Jamie Lee Curtis

puts himself in the shoes of Laurie Strode for the last time in a mythical horror saga.

Michael Myers, the killer

who has been trying to kill her for four decades, returns from hiding for a while to kill her and

finalize her revenge.

Although, now, the most reprehensible behavior is not only that of this guy with a mask, but that of a young man in love with the protagonist's granddaughter.

THE DEVIL'S SEED (Filmin)

In 1968, Roman Polanski signed a film whose final stretch gives real chills.

His greatest merit of him?

Turning a pregnancy and a subsequent birth into a nightmare in which the protagonist remains oblivious to everything.

Mia Farrow is Minnie, a woman who moves with her husband to a New York building where things are not developing as they should.

And up to here she must be counted...

POLTERGEIST (HBO Max)

With

Steven Spielberg as a screenwriter,

this film stands out for showing a horrifying situation in a house where it doesn't seem like anything bad could happen.

Mistake.

What the Freelings experience is a paranormal situation in which

some spirits obsessed with a girl try to take her to her land using

(remember?) the television placed in the living room.

THE WORLD (Netflix)

The couple formed by Lucía (Inma Cuesta) and Salvador (Roberto Álamo) live with their son Diego (Asier Flores) in an old house located in an uninhabited area where there is hardly any vegetation.

It is the 19th century and this family tries to escape the horrors of war by locating themselves in an area so inhospitable

that nothing and nobody disturbs their daily lives.

However, everything changes with the appearance of a being that, according to Salvador and a legend, is

a mythical monster that brings death and destruction with it.

IT (Prime Video, HBOMax)

The remake of a classic of the genre leaves no one indifferent.

Based on a story by the revered Stephen King, this film shows

a group of boys harassed by an evil clown named Pennywise

who never stops being scary at any time in history.

Not to mention when he bares his teeth.
