Five days after causing a road accident in Seine-et-Marne, which seriously injured three members of a family, Pierre Palmade was placed in police custody on Wednesday, announced the prosecutor of Melun.
The comedian had tested positive for cocaine.
A man suspected of being one of his two passengers was arrested.
Comedian Pierre Palmade was taken into police custody on Wednesday following the serious road accident he caused last Friday in Seine-et-Marne under the influence of cocaine, AFP told AFP. the prosecutor of Melun, Jean-Michel Bourlès.
"Mr. Palmade was taken into custody at 1:55 p.m.," said Jean-Michel Bourlès without specifying the place of his custody.
This accident left three seriously injured: a 27-year-old pregnant woman who lost her baby, a 38-year-old man and a 6-year-old child.
