Russian designers have found a way to extend the service life of the ISS until 2028

“Over the past two years, we have become very seriously involved in the International Space Station, our segment, and have carried out a fairly large amount of repair work, retrofit work,” RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.

Solovyov added that the continued use of the ISS until 2028 will require financial resources.

“We came to the conclusion that the operation of the space station until 2028 can be continued,” he said.

Earlier, Roscosmos reported that the Council of Chief Designers recommended extending the life of the Russian segment of the ISS until 2028.
