Seoul Suseo Police Station announced today (2nd) that it had not sent Justice Minister Han Dong-hoon, who was accused of insult by Democratic Party lawmaker Hwang Un-ha.
On November 7 last year, Minister Han said at a comprehensive policy inquiry by the Special Committee on Budget and Accounts of the National Assembly, "It is wrong for professional conspiracy theorists such as Kim Eo-jun and Rep. Hwang (Unha) to engage in political business using a national tragedy."
This remark came in the process of pointing out that Democratic Party lawmakers agreed with Kim Eo-joon, a tbs radio host at the time, claiming that the 'war on drugs was the cause of the Itaewon disaster'.
Rep. Hwang filed a complaint with the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency the next day, claiming that a minister defamed him.
