A man in his 50s who abused and assaulted a convenience store owner for demanding 100 won for the envelope was fined '10,000 times' the price of the envelope.

Today (2nd), Chuncheon District Court Detective 2 Single (Chief Judge Park Jin-young) announced that he sentenced A (58), who was charged with assault and obstruction of business, to a fine of 1 million won.

On the afternoon of February 9, 2021, Mr. A is accused of swearing at and assaulting Mr. B (46), the owner of a convenience store located in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do.

When store owner B said, "Give me 100 won for the envelope," Mr. A swears at him for 20 minutes, saying, "You talk a lot."

Even so, Mr. A, who was not relieved of his anger, reached out into the cashier at the convenience store where Mr. B was and exercised violence.

As a result, Mr. B is known to have suffered damage such as being caught by his hair and getting hit by his arm.

In addition, Mr. A is also accused of interfering with business, such as preventing other customers from using the convenience store.

To Mr. A, who eventually stood in court, the court explained the reason for the sentencing, saying, "The sentence was decided in consideration of the fact that he interfered with the management of the convenience store and assaulted the owner."
