Please notify the hospital in advance.]

It was the early morning of the 25th of last month when a report was received that a mother in her 40s, five days before her due date, had started going into labor.

At the time, there was no hospital near the mother's house that could provide overnight delivery, so she had to go to the main hospital in Jeju City, an hour away through heavy snow.

As the hospital nears, the mother complains of pain, so paramedics prepare for an emergency delivery.

The mother delivered her child safely inside his ambulance less than a minute before arriving at the hospital.

In the ambulance, there are kits that can help mothers in emergency deliveries.

The mother was safely transported by ambulance vehicle from her home to a hospital in Jeju city, 43 kilometers away.

Both the 3.3kg boy named 'Buddy' and the mother, who was the third child, are known to be in good health.
