At around 6:40 this morning, a fire broke out at a Chinese restaurant on the first floor of a three-story commercial building in Guro-dong, Guro-gu, Seoul.

The fire spread to a five-story house next to a shopping mall, and 18 people were evacuated from both buildings, and one woman in her 40s was taken to the hospital for inhaling smoke.

The fire burned about 50 square meters of the restaurant, the first floor of the apartment house and 15 square meters of the outer wall, including a warehouse made of sandwich panels, causing property damage estimated at 44.8 million won by the fire department, and was extinguished in an hour.
