Last week, when severe cold weather came across the country, a man in his 60s suddenly collapsed in the parking lot on his way home from a checkup at the hospital.

At the moment of danger, a social worker who also worked as a nurse in the past saved her life by providing first aid.

TJB reporter Cho Hyung-joon covered the story exclusively.

At the moment of desperation, a man runs at high speed from the other side.

While the others around him were helpless and watched, the man did not hesitate and calmly administered CPR.

Within a few minutes, the medical staff also rushed in and moved Mr. A into the hospital.

Mr. A collapsed behind a vehicle that was not easily visible to people.

However, he was quickly found and thanks to first aid, he now regained his consciousness unharmed.

The man who ran to Mr. A is Kim Dae-heung, who is serving in the military as a social worker at the Military Manpower Administration.

Kim, who worked as a nurse after graduating from a related department, moved his body first in an emergency.

[Kim Dae-heung/Military Manpower Administration social worker: Suddenly, I heard people buzzing.

As soon as I heard (said) that I was unconscious at that moment, I ran and…

.]

Mr. Kim politely declined the case of Mr. A's family who heard the story saying that he did the obvious thing.

[Kim Dae-heung/Military Service Social Worker: Because I didn't do it hoping for a case.

I think I said at the beginning that it would be fortunate if the patient was fine.]

At the time, Daejeon was experiencing a cold spell approaching minus 17 degrees Celsius, so if there was no quick action, it would be difficult to guarantee Mr. A's recovery.

Specialist: Considering that he is fully conscious now, CPR seems to have gone well at that time.]

The expected.
