On the 26th, the 26th Division of the Criminal Agreement of the Seoul Central District Court (Presiding Judge Jeong Jin-ah) announced that massage therapist A was sentenced to 2 years and 6 months in prison with 3 years of probation.

Along with this, she was ordered to complete a 40-hour sexual assault treatment program and to be restricted from employment in child and disabled organizations for three years.

In October 2020, Mr. A was handed over to trial for touching a body part that could cause sexual discomfort against a female customer at a massage shop in Seocho-gu, Seoul.

At the time, the customer was being massaged by a female employee, and when Mr. A entered the room in the middle and changed hands, it was revealed that he did this without notifying the customer that the masseuse had changed to her male person.

In addition, Mr. A is also accused of sexually assaulting another customer who was receiving a massage in January of the following year.

However, Mr. A insisted that "the service was made under consent."

On the other hand, the prosecution said, "Defendant A has a history of being sentenced to a suspended sentence in prison before, and has committed two sexual crimes."

The judge said, "Considering the contents of the conversation between the victim and her boyfriend, the defendant, and the writing of the agreement, it is acknowledged that the defendant made physical contact with the victim and was assaulted by surprise while the victim was unconscious in the process." .

However, regarding the charge of sexual assault, it was judged innocent, saying that there was no proof of the charges.

The prosecution appealed against the first trial verdict.
