A man in his 20s who posted a message saying he would attack students with hydrochloric acid at a college interview was arrested by the police.

According to the Dalseo Police Station in Daegu today (26th), Mr. A (20) was arrested on charges of posting an article to the effect that he would terrorize students on a transfer test site at around 9:56 pm the previous day.

Mr. A posted a message warning that he would terrorize the students at an interview at a national university in Chungcheong Province and attached a photo of the hydrochloric acid container.

The Songpa Police Department Cybercrime Investigator, who received the first report, tried to contact Mr. A, specified his personal information, and handed it over to the Daegu Dalseo Police Station, the jurisdiction.

Mr. A, who was caught at home, is known to have stated to the police that it was "a post posted as a joke."

Even if it's a joke, if you post these false threats on the Internet community to threaten people, you will definitely be arrested and punished for threatening.

At this time, regardless of whether there is a legal punishment, the police will decide whether to file a complaint or treat it as a false report by intensively investigating what motive the author wrote and what he did to implement the contents posted in the article.

A police official said, "We believe that the photo of the hydrochloric acid container (attached to the post by Mr. A) has been stolen."
