The Ministry of Public Administration and Security announced that as of 11:00 am today (26th), when it snowed mainly in the central region, 5 flights were canceled and 524 meter freeze damage occurred.



Heavy snow advisories previously announced in Incheon, Gyeonggi, and Chungnam have been extended to Seoul, Gangwon, and Chungbuk.



A cold wave warning is also in effect in Gyeonggi-do and Gangwon-do.



There were 524 cases of freezing and breaking of meters in Incheon and Seoul, and 16 cases of freezing and breaking of water pipes in Gyeongbuk and Gyeonggi.



Currently, 110 trails in 3 national parks are under control, and a total of 5 flights have been canceled, including 3 departures from Jeju Airport, 1 from Gunsan Airport, and 1 from Wonju Airport.



Twelve flights have been increased to transport passengers staying in Jeju Island.
