Yesterday (24th) at around 6:50 pm, an accident occurred in which four vehicles collided one after another on National Assembly Road in Sinjeong-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul.



According to the police, a vehicle running in the direction of Yeouido among six round-trip lanes tried to change lanes to two lanes and collided with a Sorento vehicle that was ahead.



The Sorrento vehicle hit the left side barrier and deviated from the lane, then crashed into a Santa Fe and a taxi, respectively.



In the accident, a total of eight people, including four passengers in the Sorento, two passengers in the Santa Fe, and a taxi driver and a passenger suffered minor injuries.



The driver of the first vehicle that caused the accident stayed nearby and left the scene.



The police believe that the driver is suspected of fleeing under the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Crimes and measures after an accident under the Road Traffic Act, and are tracking based on the black box of another vehicle and closed circuit (CC) TV.
