Today (the 24th), highways are congested in various places as vehicles rushing to the last stop.

Now, let's connect the reporters at the Seoul Tollgate to see what the traffic flow is like.

Reporter Kim Min-joon, there were a lot of cars today, maybe because it was the last day of the holiday.

Yes, I have been here since dawn this morning.

Congestion was heaviest between 3 and 4 p.m.

From around 6:00 PM, the congestion started to clear up little by little, but as you can see now, after 8:00 PM, the flow of traffic is relatively smooth.

We will explain the detailed traffic situation while watching the CCTV.

First, the Anseong junction section of the Gyeongbu Expressway, which showed a frustrating flow all day long.

Now that I'm out of breath, traffic flows smoothly in both directions.

Next is the Seohaean Expressway in the direction of Seoul.

Until 5:00 PM, I bit the tail of the car in front and couldn't speed up, but now I'm running cool.

The national traffic volume expected today is 4.32 million, similar to the usual weekend.

Based on the current time, the estimated travel time to Seoul is gradually decreasing to 4 hours and 30 minutes from Busan, 3 hours and 30 minutes from Gwangju, and 2 hours and 50 minutes from Gangneung.

The Korea Expressway Corporation predicted that all traffic congestion would be resolved around 9:00 p.m.

It is becoming a difficult route back home due to severe cold weather as well as traffic jams.

Until the end, you need to be careful of safety accidents on snowy and icy roads.

The weather is cold, but I hope you will finish the four-day Lunar New Year holiday warmly.
