A driver in his 30s who crashed into a taxi and a telephone pole while driving drunk during the Lunar New Year holiday was arrested by the police.
Incheon Seobu Police Station said today (22nd) that driver A in his 30s was charged with drunk driving.
Mr. A was found to have crashed into a taxi and a telephone pole in turn while driving drunk on a round-trip 6-lane road in Wanggil-dong, Seo-gu, Incheon, around 1:00 am today.
In the accident, Mr. A, the taxi driver, and two passengers were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.
At the time, it was known that Mr. A's blood alcohol concentration was a level corresponding to license suspension.
The police said they plan to investigate the exact circumstances of the accident after Mr. A finishes treatment.
