The name of Lee Jae-myung, the representative of the Democratic Party, is mentioned 146 times in the indictment of private businesses in Daejang-dong prepared by the prosecution.

Although he was not identified as an accomplice, Lee, who was then mayor of Seongnam, saw that he had been reported to all of the process by which private businessmen, including Kim Man-bae, used inside information about Seongnam City to obtain unfair profits.

Prosecutors specifically pointed out that Lee received a report on and approved a plan to receive bribes from Mr. Kim in exchange for convenience in the Daejang-dong business.

In 2014 and 2015, Mr. Kim conveyed his intention to give Lee half of his stake in the Daejang-dong project to former head of Seongnam Urban Development Corporation, Yoo Dong-gyu, and this was reported to and approved by Lee Jin-sang, former policy secretary of Seongnam City. .

The indictment also states that CEO Lee virtually approved the profit maximization of private businesses in Daejang-dong in exchange for political gain.

He wrote that he directly approved plans to change the public offering guidelines and increase the floor area ratio and lower the rental housing ratio in favor of private businesses in Daejang-dong, instead of providing the funds for the promotion of the 'Seongnam 1 Industrial Complex Park', which was his pledge.

As a result, it is the prosecutor's judgment that the natives of Daejang-dong only suffered losses while CEO Lee made political gains in fulfilling his promise and the Daejang-dong gang made an astronomical profit of 788.6 billion won.

Ahead of the re-election of Seongnam Mayor in 2014, lawyer Nam Wook and others mobilized comment units and supported hundreds of millions of won in campaign funds.

It is known that the prosecution, ahead of the summons investigation of Lee after the Lunar New Year holiday, has determined that it has secured a significant amount of evidence to prove the charges in addition to the statement.
