Today (20th) at around 6:27 am, a large fire in Guryong Village, Gaepo-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul was completely extinguished at around 11:46 am, about 5 hours later.
According to the fire department, as of 12:00 noon, a total of 2,700 square meters had been destroyed, including about 60 houses made of vinyl plywood.
About 500 residents were evacuated from the fire, and no casualties were reported.
There are a total of 62 victims, and they are temporarily staying at 4 hotels in Gangnam-gu.
918 people and 68 pieces of equipment, including firefighters, police, and Gangnam-gu Office staff, were put in to extinguish the fire.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire and the exact extent of the damage.
