The first products will be released in the spring of 2023, Rostec reports.
“It is also planned to create a network of prosthetic and orthopedic workshops throughout Russia,” the report says.
It is noted that the production will be organized on the basis of the country's first prosthetic plant - MPO Metalist.
To implement the project, Rostec attracted more than 1 billion rubles of direct private investment.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin called for the continuation of import substitution in high-tech industries.
It was also reported that more than 800 million rubles were allocated in Moscow for the development of import-substituting industries.
