Hands and foot found

The "human remains" were discovered Tuesday evening around 11:40 p.m.

"The alert was given by the company in charge of unblocking these pipes at the request of the owner of the building", explained the prosecution.

"Hands, a foot or bits of flesh were found in these ducts. An electric saw was also found" not far from the building, said the Lyon Mag site, which revealed this case.

An investigation by the head of intentional homicide was "immediately" opened after the macabre discovery and entrusted to the zonal direction of the judicial police (DZPJ), according to the Lyon prosecutor's office.

According to the Lyon Mag site, the murder could date back to last Sunday "because screams were heard in the building".
