A man in his 20s who stalked an internet personal broadcaster (BJ) whom he has known for nearly 10 years and threatened to return his donation was sentenced to prison.

This man stole a taxi to get to BJ's house, drove it, and got into a car accident.

The 15th Criminal Division of the Incheon District Court (Presiding Judge Lee Kyu-hoon) sentenced A (28, male) to 3 years and 6 months in prison for violating the Act on the Punishment of Stalking Crimes and special robbery, and completed a 40-hour stalking treatment program. It was announced today (18th) that it ordered.

On June 4-5 of last year, Mr. A was charged with stalking BJ, a woman in her 30s, over 60 times by sending or calling BJ at a gositel in Seo-gu, Incheon.

He sent a video of folding and unfolding a folding knife to Mr. B twice, and severely swearing through text messages.

Mr. A asked, “I have 8,000 star balloons that I have sponsored so far, and I want to return 400,000 won, equivalent to 4,000 of them.” I did.

In fact, on the morning of the 6th of the same month, he took a taxi to go to Mr. B's house and drove more than 40 km to Gunpo-si, Gyeonggi-do.

Mr. A was reported and tried to run away from the police patrol car he chased after, but ran into another taxi and ran away.

From 2013, he often watched Mr. B's personal broadcast and sent donations, and after that, it was investigated that he was obsessed with saying, "I love you. I miss you."

The judge said, "The defendant repeatedly stalked and stole a taxi to go to the victim's house."

"The victim seems to have suffered considerable psychological damage due to persistent stalking," he said, explaining the reason for the sentencing, saying, "I admit all the crimes, but I took into account the poor quality of the crime."
