A man in his 40s was arrested after driving a car into a convenience store while intoxicated and causing a disturbance.

Two months ago, the victim had a grudge against the convenience store where he was sued for making a fuss over not giving him a plastic bag.

The Gyeongnam Geoje Police Station announced on the 15th that it plans to apply for an arrest warrant for A, a man in his 40s, for allegedly damaging a convenience store with a vehicle (destruction of special property, etc.).

Mr. A is accused of rushing into a convenience store in Geoje City with his vehicle at around 10:30 pm on the 14th and destroying the store and internal furniture.

At the time, convenience store owner B was in the cashier and was able to avoid the vehicle, and luckily did not collide directly.

As a result of the police investigation, Mr. A's crime was intentional.

The incident started on the night of November 24 last year, and Mr. A, who bought something at the convenience store, started a riot saying that he was angry when the store owner B did not give him a plastic bag.

According to the policy of the Ministry of Environment, from November 24 last year, convenience stores cannot provide plastic bags, and despite this guidance, Mr. A's fuss did not stop.

If you look at the CCTV video at the time that Mr. B's child released to the online community, you can see Mr. A throwing things at the checkout counter, eventually snatching Mr. B's collar, pulling him, and even spitting, threatening.

According to the child of Mr. B, Mr. A is said to have visited after that, threw things and demanded a refund.

When Mr. B filed a complaint, Mr. A demanded an agreement and withdrawal of the complaint, and when Mr. B refused, Mr. A harbored a grudge and drove a car to the convenience store on the night of the 14th, two months later.

It was confirmed that Mr. A continued to assault, such as grabbing the collar of the store owner B even after entering the convenience store with a vehicle.

Mr. B's child said, "My mother was traumatized by this incident and is in hospital for dizziness, headache, nausea, etc." It's very likely," he complained of injustice.

The police said they are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident against Mr. A and plan to apply for an arrest warrant.
