Jang Yong-jun, the son of National Power Congressman Jang Je-won, his active name is Noel when he was active as a rapper.

Noel is embroiled in controversy over his rap lyrics.

What caused controversy was the song 'Gangganggang?', which was released on Sound Cloud last week.

Among the lyrics, there is a phrase that says, 'If it was the era of Chun Doo-hwan, if you touched me, it would go to the basement'.

This song is 'Right This Song', where Noel re-sniped the song of a rapper who sniped at him.

Previously, rapper Flicky Bang pointed out Noel's drunk driving in the past with the lyrics, "I grew up eating soybean paste stew, but I've never driven drunk."

Many netizens criticized the lyrics in question for mocking the victims of the democratization movement during the military dictatorship of Chun Doo-hwan.

As the criticism grew, Noel made his social media private, and the controversial song was also removed from SoundCloud after a user reported it.
