In downtown Seoul, water pipes burst one after another, flooding part of the road and cutting off water supply to nearby households.

It seems that there is a problem with the water pipe due to the weather that was suddenly relieved after it was cold.

Muddy water overflows over the driveway.

Today (14th) at around 7:10 am, a water supply pipe ruptured at a construction site near the five-way intersection of Wangsimni Station in Seoul.

As a result of the accident, water supply to nearby villas and multi-family homes was stopped until 5 p.m.

[Hong Seung-rak/Nearby worker: (Is there any inconvenience with the singular number?) There are many.

We have to clean up when we're done, but we can't do anything like cleaning.]

The Seoul Waterworks Headquarters believes that water leaks have occurred due to the loosening of the joints due to the repeated contraction and relaxation of the water supply pipe in recent volatile weather.

In Hongje-dong, Seoul, where water pipes burst yesterday, restoration was delayed, causing inconvenience to more than 300 households.

The city cut off water from 7 am today for full-scale restoration work, and it was not until 2 pm that the water supply was normalized.

The front door of the intercity bus is severely dented.

At around 11:40 am today, a bus and a car collided with a bus heading to Seoul on the Gyeongbu Expressway near Banpo IC in Seoul.

There were no casualties, but the bus door was broken and the passengers were trapped for close to 30 minutes before the fire and rescue team removed the door.

[Mr. Han / Accident witness: I hit the door and couldn't open it at all.

By the way, originally, when an accident happens, the driver has to put something behind it, but he couldn't do that and was just stuck.] The

bus is said to have driven at low speed to the next stop with passengers on board with the door open.
