[Hit-and-run after hitting an automobile in July of last year]

According to Seoul Namdaemun Police Station, Lee Geun was driving his car near Chungjeongno Station in Seoul in July of last year when he invaded the centerline and crashed into a motorcycle coming from the other side.

According to the police, Lee Geun left the scene immediately after the accident without properly handling it, and was charged with a hit-and-run.

A police official said, "As a result of the investigation, the intention of the hit-and-run was recognized, and the case was handed over to the prosecution with the opinion of prosecution."

[Investigation as he was not intoxicated in the afternoon at the time of the

accident] At the time of the accident, the road was relatively quiet in the afternoon, and it is said that Lee Geun was not in a drunken state.

The motorcycle was severely damaged in the accident, but the driver suffered minor injuries.

The Seoul Central District Court plans to conduct a trial by merging Lee Geun's hit-and-run case and the charges of violating the passport law.
