Prosecutors' investigators leave the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency carrying a blue box.
[Prosecution Investigator: Prosecutor, please accept the documents.]
Even in the early evening, additional boxes are brought in.
The search and seizure was conducted simultaneously in 10 locations, including the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, the National Police Agency, the Yongsan Police Station and the district office.
This is the first seizure and search since the police took over the new recruits of the field managers, including former Yongsan Police Station head Lee Im-jae and Yongsan-gu Office chief Park Hee-young.
Computer-related departments that store 112 call recordings and radio communication records at the time of the Itaewon disaster, such as the Information Infrastructure Division of the National Police Agency and the Information and Communications Network Control Center of the Seoul Metropolitan Government, are the main targets.
In particular, the prosecution again went to the seizure and search of the National Police Agency, but it is analyzed that the police special edition has entered into a 'top line' investigation, such as the police chiefs who have not been able to identify.
Previously, the special edition concluded that Police Commissioner Yoon Hee-geun was not charged, but the prosecution conducted a search and seizure of the National Police Agency for over 11 hours today (10th).
Regardless of the results of the police investigation, whether the top police officers are negligent is also interpreted as a signal that the prosecution will look into it again.
