Lee Jae-myung, the representative of the Democratic Party, who attended the prosecution in connection with the 'Suspicion of donations to Seongnam FC', was investigated for nearly 12 hours and escaped from the Seongnam branch of the Suwon District Prosecutor's Office at around 10:40 pm.
About 20 members of the Democratic Party, including Democratic Party floor leader Park Hong-geun, gathered at the entrance of the Seongnam branch office and waited for about two hours to greet Lee after the investigation.
Previously, CEO Lee Jae-myung attended the Seongnam Branch of the Suwon District Prosecutor's Office as a suspect at around 10:30 am today (10th).
Before attending, Lee said in relation to the Seongnam FC case, "I have already investigated for several years and brought back a case that was disposed of without suspicion. It is a judicial coup that manipulates crimes that do not exist."
