It has been confirmed that the police are investigating the case of Mr. Jung, a villa and officetel renter who died in Jeju in 2021, by indicting the forces behind it, presumed to be the actual landlord.

Police Commissioner Yoon Hee-geun said at a press conference today (9th), "The background of the deceased landlord has recently been confirmed and is being investigated."

Mr. Jeong died in Jeju with no connection in July 2021 after buying and renting about 240 new villas and officetels in Gangseo and Yangcheon-gu, Seoul.

The police have confirmed that the agent carried a power of attorney and signed a sale and lease agreement, and has been tracking down and investigating who the actual transaction is.

The police judged a consulting company to be behind Mr. Jung and booked him as an accomplice in charter fraud.

An official from the National Police Agency explained, "Mr. Jung is more like the landlord of pants, and the consulting company seems to be the actual owner." "We are considering applying for an arrest warrant."

In relation to the case of another villa king, Mr. Kim, who died without returning the jeonse deposit while owning 1,139 houses such as villas and officetels, the police also booked 5 people involved, including the owner and sales agent, and are analyzing confiscated items such as accounts. .
