hot flames burn fiercely in the sky.

Even after daylight, acrid smoke leaks out of the door without a break.

Around 6:30 this morning, a fire of unknown cause broke out in the parking tower of an officetel building on the 23rd floor in Busanjin-gu, Busan.

The fire that started at the bottom of the outer wall of the parking tower moved to a two-story commercial building right next to it, and a second stage of response was issued, in which the nearby fire department was mobilized.

It was confirmed that the building on fire was built with the so-called 'Dryvit method', which uses styrofoam, a flammable material, as an insulation material, so the fire spread quickly.

The fire authorities, who extinguished the big flames four hours after the fire and lowered it to the first response stage, have now caught all remaining flames and released the response stage.

Due to this fire, an evacuation order was issued to 552 officetel residents at one time, and 37 people were confirmed to have suffered simple smoke inhalation.

Seven of them were taken to the hospital, but are known to have minor injuries.

The police plan to hold a joint identification with related agencies tomorrow to investigate the exact cause of the fire.
