According to Jungnang-gu today (9th), on the morning of the 4th, a man in his 70s visited the Myeonmokbon-dong Community Service Center and handed over a wad of cash with the words, "Please write for the elderly in difficult areas."

The reason why this man chose to donate a cotton stock was because of the warm affection he received from his neighbor 45 years ago.

The man, currently residing in Gyeonggi-do, confessed, "I have always been grateful to the local residents who took good care of my mother who lived in Myeonmokbon-dong 45 years ago, but I have not been able to express my gratitude because I have moved."

At the same time, he explained the reason for the donation, "With the desire to repay the favor to the residents, I decided to donate to help the elderly in need instead of living in Bon-dong, Myeonmok."

The man informed the community center of his identity, but asked not to disclose his name to the outside world, and decided not to disclose it separately, the community center said.

Jungnang-gu plans to use the donation of 5 million won for local seniors according to the will of the donor.

Ryu Gyeong-gi, head of Jungnang-gu, said, “I am grateful for the warm heart that chose to give back to the local community to repay the grace received without forgetting the help received in difficult times.” I hope,” he said.
