The 3.7 magnitude earthquake occurred at 1:28 am today.

It was found that it occurred at a depth of 19 km underground, about 25 km west of Ganghwa-gun, Incheon.

As a result of the automatic analysis, the magnitude of the earthquake was calculated as 4.0, and the Korea Meteorological Administration announced an earthquake early warning, which was adjusted to 3.7 through additional analysis.

It has been 72 days since an earthquake of magnitude 4.1 occurred in Goesan County, North Chungcheong Province on October 29 last year that an earthquake of magnitude 3.5 or higher occurred on the Korean Peninsula and in the surrounding waters.

The earthquake delivered an earthquake of magnitude 4, a level that many people felt indoors and some woke up in the Incheon area.

Tremors of magnitude 3 were delivered to the Gyeonggi region and tremors of magnitude 2 were delivered to the Seoul region.

A sudden earthquake in the middle of the night led to reports that the earthquake was felt in the metropolitan area one after another.

[Yoo Il-hee/Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do: I was lying down, but I woke up because the apartment was shaking.

The building shook at three or four times the sound of the elevator 'thump'.]

[Kim Young-min/Geumcheon-gu, Seoul: The window shook, and I was lying on the bed, but the bed also shook.]

The shaking was also transmitted to Dobong-gu, Seoul, more than 100 km from the epicenter.

[Sim Ji-wan/Seoul Dobong-gu: I was with a child and felt it together, the sound of the house shaking and the window shaking.

About 3 to 5 seconds.]

In the online community, there were posts saying that they thought there was a war, or that they were surprised and could not fall back to sleep after waking up from an earthquake warning.

The Incheon Fire Headquarters said that there was no damage caused by the earthquake.
