A man in his 50s, an early morning worker, was found dead in a bathroom at the Coupang Logistics Center in Incheon, and the police launched an investigation.
Today (8th) at around 5:10 am, a 119 report was received at the Coupang Distribution Center in Wonchang-dong, Seo-gu, Incheon, saying that Mr. A, a worker in his 50s, collapsed in the bathroom.
When a worker working with him found him, Mr. A was in cardiac arrest.
He was taken to a nearby hospital after receiving first aid, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), but eventually died.
It was found that Mr. A, who started working at 4 am, announced his intention to leave early and went to the bathroom while resting in the break room.
Police plan to ask the National Institute of Scientific Investigation to perform an autopsy on Mr. A's body.
A police official said, "After securing a closed-circuit (CC) TV at the site, there was no suspicion of a crime, such as collapsing due to external force."
