The identity of the bloodstains found at the residence of Lee Ki-young (31), who was arrested for the murder of his cohabitant and a taxi driver, was found to be that of an acquaintance and his cohabitant who died.

The result of the psychopath (antisocial personality disorder) test conducted on Lee Ki-young was concluded to be 'diagnosable'.

The Ilsan Eastern Police Station in Gyeonggi-do said that it sent a DNA (gene) control group of six women to the National Institute of Scientific Investigation to identify the bloodstains of two women from Lee Gi-young's residence, and received a reply today (6th).

Earlier, the DNA of two women was detected in the bloodstains obtained by the police as evidence, and attention was focused on whether there were other victims besides the deceased cohabitant.

A police official explained, "The DNA from the bloodstains is the murdered cohabitant and an acquaintance of the cohabitant who fought with Lee Ki-young."

First of all, the DNA of the blood found in the bedroom, the scene of the crime, appears to be that of a woman in her 50s who was murdered while living with Lee Ki-young.

Although Mr. A's body has not been found and Mr. A's parents have not been contacted at all, there is no definite DNA control, but the DNA from the traces of life in the house and the DNA from the blood matched.

In addition, as a result of a comprehensive analysis based on the details of the crime Lee Ki-young confessed to, the police determined that it was the blood of Mr. A.

The police took the DNA of Mr. A's brother and submitted it to the National Forensic Service, but it was said that the result of the comparison was uncertain because it was her brother and sister.

The identity of the other person was identified as Mr. B, an acquaintance of the woman living with him.

Mr. B visited this house in April of last year and had a physical fight with Mr. Lee, and was reported to 112.

At this time, it is said that Lee Ki-young bit B's finger and it was bleeding.

The police also put in profilers to conduct a psychopath test on Mr. Lee, but today concluded that 'diagnosis is impossible'.

Regarding this, a police official explained, "We have finally determined that the evaluation data for some of the items that determine psychopaths are currently insufficient."

Although being diagnosed as a psychopath does not legally affect the punishment for murder, it has become difficult to conduct a psychological analysis of Lee Ki-young, who murdered two people and swindled tens of millions of won in the space of four months.

The search for the body continues today.

An intensive search was carried out with excavators and search dogs for two days at a point along the Gongneung Stream in Paju City, which Lee Ki-young pointed out while reversing her statement regarding the method of abandoning the body of her cohabitant, but the body was not found.

Accordingly, the police expanded the scope of the search from yesterday.

Since the heavy rain of more than 200 mm has been pouring in the Paju area since the day of the crime, the possibility of the body being lost cannot be ruled out.

On the other hand, Mr. Lee killed a woman in her 50s who was the landlord and lived with her in a house in Paju on August 7-8 of last year, and then abandoned the body at Gongneungcheon Stream. He was arrested on charges of bringing a taxi driver home for a settlement, killing him, and hiding the body in a closet.
