A man who bought and administered 500,000 won worth of methamphetamine was arrested by the police after a YouTuber reported it.

According to the police today (5th), the Jungnang Police Station in Seoul booked and investigated A (25) on charges of possessing and administering methamphetamine (violation of the Narcotics Control Act).

It is known that the complainant, YouTuber B, who specializes in drug reporting, has a history of reporting drug possession suspects in Seoul in the past.

YouTuber B deceived A by saying, 'I will buy drugs in exchange for sex' through a chat application, and then reported the fact to the police.

Police dispatched after receiving the report caught Mr. A at Meokgol Station in Jungnang-gu, Seoul at around 12:30 pm, and found 18 mg of methamphetamine and a syringe in his vehicle.

The police who conducted the investigation confirmed that Mr. A met with a drug dealer through a chat application at around 1:00 pm the previous day, bought 500,000 won worth of methamphetamine at Wolgok Station in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, and administered the drug.

The police plan to decide whether to apply for an arrest warrant after investigating Mr. A's additional crimes and habitual drug use.
