night (3rd), at a hotel in Jung-gu, Incheon.

A transfer bus departing from Incheon Airport carrying corona-confirmed patients is entering, and quarantine officials leave their seats for a while to go through the quarantine procedure for the confirmed patients.

Taking advantage of this gap, a man dressed in white got out of the car with a luggage bag and quickly ran away.

[Hotel staff: (Family members) say, 'We'll isolate them, so we'll take them', they write all the documents and send them.

I went down there and wrote down the names of my family members, and now I'm gone.]

This man, identified as a Chinese in his 40s, entered the country alone at Incheon International Airport yesterday and was tested positive for Corona.

The man who fled disappeared after moving to the vicinity of a large mart here, about 300 meters away from the quarantine facility.

The police are presuming that the man traveled by taxi and are expanding the scope of the pursuit, but the escape route has not yet been identified.

The man was wanted as a current criminal for violating the Infectious Disease Prevention Act.

At the time of the escape, the temporary quarantine facility was urgently designated as an additional place as the number of Chinese entrants who were confirmed confirmed increased.

For this reason, unlike the existing management facilities, it was found that there were no police security personnel deployed.

As soon as the police and quarantine authorities catch the man, they plan to confirm the escape.

Then, if there is no evidence of involvement in other crimes, we plan to impose restrictions that prevent people from entering the country for a certain period of time along with forced departure.
