A large fire broke out at a wastewater treatment plant in Incheon, killing one person and seriously injuring another.



Yesterday (4th) around 9:00 pm, a big fire broke out in an industrial wastewater treatment company building in Seoknam-dong, Seo-gu, Incheon.



In this accident, a male employee in his 60s was found dead, and another employee, male B in his 70s, suffered third-degree burns all over his body and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.



It is known that a total of three people, including Mr. A and Mr. B, were working at the company at the time.



One two-story business building was also completely burned, and the other one was also half burnt.



The fire was out in 3 hours.



The fire department, which issued a 'response step 1' in which the entire fire department personnel in the jurisdiction were dispatched within 25 minutes of the report, put 51 vehicles such as pump cars and 128 firefighters to extinguish the fire.



Police and fire authorities plan to investigate the exact cause of the fire based on eyewitness statements that the fire started with an explosion.
