A group of middle school students who stole and drove another person's vehicle, sold money and goods in the car, and assaulted a police officer were handed over to the prosecution.

The Jeju West Police Station sent three people, including A (15), who were arrested on charges of special theft, obstruction of justice, and illegal use of a car, and five people who were investigated without detention to the prosecution.

Five of these eight people, including group A, are suspected of stealing money and other valuables by selecting eight unlocked vehicles in Jeju airport parking buildings and famous hotel parking lots in downtown Jeju during the late night hours from late September to early December of last year.

Some vehicles are also accused of illegal use by driving them over and returning them to their place.

Group A's crew stole valuables such as luxury bags and clothes from the car and sold them on second-hand internet sites, earning about 34 million won in cash over two months.

As a result of the police investigation, it was confirmed that they spent this money on entertainment expenses.

In addition, four of Group A's crew are accused of injuring the face of a police officer who was dispatched after receiving a report of 'reckless driving' while driving a motorcycle on a road in Jeju City at around 8:15 pm on November 27 last year.

In particular, even after being caught by the police, it is said that he showed an attitude of laughing and saying, "Are you going to be released today?" or saying, "Why don't you lock the car door?"

Eight people per group A were middle school students and committed crimes by 2-3 people at a time, and they were all over 14 years old and were not known to be law enforcement boys.
