Noh So-young, director of Art Center Nabi, who appealed in the divorce lawsuit against SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, expressed his feelings for the first time about the first trial ruling.

On the 6th of last month, the 2nd Division of Family Agreement of the Seoul Family Court ruled that Chairman Chey Tae-won should pay Director Noh So-young 66.5 billion won in property division and 100 million won in alimony.

Regarding this ruling, Director Noh said in an interview with the legal newspaper, “It is a trial that the public has watched for five years, and it is embarrassing and shameful.”

“During 34 years of marriage, I felt that the value of my life was completely ignored when I was evaluated as having contributed to raising three children and helping my husband grow to the current size of the business at 1.2%,” she said.

In particular, he claimed that his divorce was a so-called 'eviction divorce'.

Regarding this, Chairman Chey Tae-won's lawyers said in an official position, "The first trial judgment is not a new standard for property division, but follows the long-established court judgment standard, and we are very sorry for Director Noh's one-sided argument.
