Just looking at the recently released CCTV footage, it looks quite different from the photos.
Other victims whose faces were revealed in the past also responded that they wondered if the photos and real people were really the same, but a total of 21 suspects decided to disclose their personal information from the end of 2019.
Except for three of them, all of them only released ID photos of unknown when they were taken.
This is because, under the current law, the mug shot, taken by the investigative agency after the arrest, can only be released with the consent of the suspect.
However, the purpose of the identity disclosure system is not simply because we are curious about the criminal's face.
It is to prevent the repetition of brutal crimes and to reveal if there are more unfortunate victims.
