The Seoul Guro Police Station became the first large shopping mall tenant in police history, and netizens are reacting hotly.

Recently, on social media, a post with the title of 'police station in the mart' has been posted instead of 'police station next to the fire station'.

This is a photo of Techno Mart in Sindorim, Seoul.

There are banners saying Wedding Hall on the 7th floor, Luxury Furniture Hall on the 4th floor, and Guro Police Station on the 5th floor.

Guro Police Station used the 5th floor of Shindorim Techno Mart as a temporary office building as the existing police station building was reconstructed due to deterioration.

The existing building of the Guro Police Station, which has been built for 40 years, has suffered from problems such as poor insulation and soundproofing, and clogged water supply.

The police explained that they chose the large mart building because it was difficult to find space for more than 400 employees during the construction period.

Netizens were intrigued, asking, "If you commit a crime in a shopping mall, will you be arrested right away?"

There were also opinions such as 'It's too complicated and far to have to go up to the 5th floor of the police station' and 'Isn't it taking a long time just to be reported and dispatched?'
