The New Year's diary, which Starbucks gives as a free gift to customers who drink 17 cups of coffee, is currently being traded for around 10,000 won on the online used market.
An unopened product without a 1+1 coupon that allows you to get another cup of coffee with the purchase of a cup of coffee was being traded for less than 10,000 won.
Since it cost at least 80,000 won to drink 17 drinks, online complaints such as 'I drank 17 drinks hard to get a diary, but I bought it for no reason' came up.
Inside and outside the distribution industry, there are rumors that the popularity of the Starbucks Diary is getting worse than before.
This is because most people these days store and check their schedules on their smartphones instead of diaries.
A free drink coupon was included in the diary until about 10 years ago, but recently it has been changed to a 1+1 coupon, which is considered one of the reasons for the low price of the diary.
