Yesterday, the court issued an arrest warrant for 32-year-old Lee Mo, who is suspected of murdering a taxi driver.

Arriving at the courthouse with his hat on, Lee did not answer reporters' questions.

[Mr. Lee / Suspect in the murder of the taxi driver: (Did you plan to kill the taxi driver? Why did you kill your ex-girlfriend?) …

.]

Mr. Lee is said to have conveyed his intention to reject the reporters' questions in advance to the police.

On the night of the 20th, when Mr. Lee had a collision with a taxi while driving drunk, he lured taxi driver A to his house and killed him, saying he would give him the settlement money, and dumped his body in his closet.

After the arrest, during the police investigation, he confessed to killing his ex-girlfriend last August, and it was confirmed that he had stated that he had killed his girlfriend in an argument over living expenses.

After killing his ex-girlfriend, Mr. B, it was investigated that Lee loaded the body into the loopback of his vehicle and abandoned it in Gongneungcheon, Paju.

The police are continuing their investigation, leaving open the possibility of a premeditated crime aimed at money.

After the crime, it was revealed that Lee used about 50 million won on the taxi driver's credit card and about 20 million won on his ex-girlfriend's card.

The current residence in the name of the ex-girlfriend is also under provisional seizure for a card debt worth about 100 million won, so we are also looking into the relationship between this debt and Mr. Lee.

Today, the police will hold a personal disclosure review committee to decide whether and how much Lee's identity will be disclosed.
