The Seoul Metropolitan Government has set out to prepare a new slogan to represent Seoul following 'I Seoul U'.
Since 2015, Seoul has been using 'IㆍSeoulㆍU' as its city brand slogan.
It was decided to replace it in reflection of the point that the meaning is ambiguous and the delivery power is poor.
Since last August, four candidates have been selected through public contests and opinion gatherings: 'Seoul For You', 'Amazing Seoul', 'Seoul, My Soul', and 'Make It Happen, Seoul'.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government plans to finalize the final slogan by conducting a domestic and international preference survey from today to next month.
It is said that anyone at home and abroad can participate in the survey on 'Seoul M Voting' and 'City Foreign Language Website', and can also express their opinions offline at Seoul Plaza and Gwanghwamun Square.
Based on the results of the preference survey and expert reviews, the city of Seoul will select the final brand and announce it in February next year.
