A man in his 30s who killed a taxi driver and hid the body in his closet was arrested by the police.
According to the Northern Gyeonggi Provincial Police Agency, a man in his 30s who was arrested on suspicion of murder had an accident on the night of the 20th in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, while driving drunk and in contact with a passing taxi.
Mr. A took the victim to his house, saying that he would pay for the repair of his car and the settlement money.
It is known that a fight broke out while talking in his house, and he killed the taxi driver with a blunt weapon in anger and hid the body in his closet.
It was revealed that Mr. A tried to hide the fact of the crime by sending messages such as 'I'm busy' and 'I don't have batteries' in the messages of family members who are worried about the victim who cannot be contacted.
However, Mr. A's girlfriend was caught while reporting to the police that 'there is a body in the boyfriend's closet'.
A police official said that Mr. A claimed that 'it happened accidentally after arguing over the settlement money', but he said that he was investigating to find out whether it was a premeditated crime.
