As the heavy snow and strong winds that hit Jeju subsided, the heavy snow and strong wind warnings were lifted, and flights and ferry operations returned to normal.

At Jeju Airport, most of the flight operations were normalized as the weather conditions improved, but only some flight operations were disrupted.



The airport was crowded with tourists who were stranded and flocked to the counters of airlines to get tickets.



Korea Airports Corporation has decided to extend the operating hours of Gimpo Airport from 11 p.m. to midnight by one hour to transport passengers for canceled flights at Jeju Airport.



The Korea Meteorological Administration has predicted that there will be occasional rain or snowfall in Jeju Island until tonight, and that 1 to 3 cm more snow will accumulate in the mountains.
