Snow is snow, but I am more concerned about the cold.

A cold wind blows through the night and the temperature plummets.

Tomorrow (22nd) morning on the way to work, I will have to hurry a little like today.

Let's connect our reporters out of Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul.

Reporter Park Ye-rin, it's still snowing a little bit.

How was your way home from work?

<Reporter>

Here in Gwanghwamun Square, the snow that had been falling until the morning mostly stopped in the afternoon, but now it is snowing weakly again.

After the sun goes down, the temperature gradually drops.

As the snow freezes, the way home from work has no choice but to turn into an icy road, and citizens are hurrying home, walking carefully on the slippery road.

[Park Ga-ryang/Gangseo-gu, Seoul: I still walk often, so I'm very nervous.

I think I need to get home soon before the ice freezes.

(To my house) The only way to go is by bus, so I'm trying to take the bus, but it looks like the traffic will be blocked.]

Up to 3cm more snow will fall in the inland areas of Gangwon by night, but it is expected that it will stop at around 1cm in Seoul and the metropolitan area.

It is said that the cold will continue until this weekend. How cold will it be?

[Reporter

] Yes, it is.

As cold air comes down from the north from tonight, a special cold wave warning will go into effect in the central region, including the metropolitan area, from 9:00 pm.

Tomorrow morning, the temperature in Seoul will drop sharply to minus 9 degrees.

It is expected that the wind will blow and the wind chill temperature will be below minus 15 degrees.

The day after tomorrow, the morning temperature in Seoul will drop to -14 degrees Celsius, and the cold will continue until this weekend, including Christmas.

As the temperature, which was in the video range during the day, drops sharply overnight, it will be more slippery than today on the way to work tomorrow morning.

Pay special attention to traffic safety and use public transportation whenever possible.
