Police investigating the death of a person who ran a famous restaurant in Jeju have arrested three people and are investigating the exact motive of the crime.

After committing the crime, it was revealed that they evaded police pursuit by changing clothes and changing taxis.

Mr. A, in his 50s, who is accused of directly killing the victim, avoided tracking by changing taxis immediately after the crime.



In the process, he changed all of his clothes and shoes, and while moving to Gyeongnam, he stated that he threw away all the clothes he was wearing at the time of the crime.



In addition, on the 15th, the day before the crime, it was revealed that he had stolen someone else's name when he and his wife came to Jeju by boat.



This is why the police believe that it is a premeditated crime to conspire with his wife and confuse the investigation.

Also, the police believe that Mr. C, who was acquainted with the victim behind this murder, commissioned the crime.



The police secured a statement that Mr. C gave Mr. A, a junior from his hometown, the password of the victim's house and asked him to look at his hand.



Regarding the arrest warrant requested by the police for charges such as murder and instigating murder, the court issued an arrest warrant saying that there is a risk of escape and destruction of evidence.



Immediately after the crime, the police collected the abandoned victim's mobile phone, requested a detailed identification to the National Forensic Service, and also investigated the account transaction details of the arrested suspects to further confirm the exact motive for the crime and whether or not they received financial compensation.
