“The Soyuz MS-23 spacecraft will be prepared, which will dock to the station in unmanned mode and return the crew,” Interfax quoted Borisov as saying.

At the same time, the head of Roskosmos said that he would hope for a regular completion of the expedition of the Soyuz MS-22 spacecraft with a depressurized cooling system docked to the International Space Station.

On December 15, Russian cosmonauts officially reported a leak from the cooling system of the Soyuz MS-22 as a result of damage to the ship's skin, as a result of which the air on board is heated.

Later, Roskosmos specialists determined the exact location of the damage to the instrument-aggregate compartment.
