Today (10th) at around 4:30 pm in Jonggak, Jongno-gu, Seoul, a 4th anniversary cultural festival was held in memory of the late Kim Yong-gyun, who died in an accident at Taean Thermal Power Plant in Chungcheongnam-do.

On December 11, 2018, Yong-gyun Kim lost his life in an accident where his body got caught in a conveyor belt for coal transportation while working as a non-regular worker belonging to Korea Power Generation Technology at Taean Thermal Power Plant in Wonbuk-myeon, Taean-gun, Chungcheongnam-do.



About 150 people attended the on-site memorial service at the Taean Thermal Power Plant on the 6th, including Mr. Kim's mother, Kim Mi-sook, chairman of the Kim Yong-gyun Foundation, Jeong-mi Lee, representative of the Justice Party, and officials from labor and civic groups.



On this day, Chairman Kim Mi-sook said, "The reality of holding a memorial service on her son's birthday is astonishing." There is a bar.
