One of two foreign men who broke into a subway depot and drew graffiti on a train and fled was caught overseas.

The Incheon Nonhyeon Police Station said it had requested the Romanian government to extradite American A, who is suspected of trespassing on public buildings and destroying property.

Mr. A is accused of sneaking into a subway car depot in Namdong-gu, Incheon in September and drawing graffiti measuring 2m wide and 1m long on the outer wall of the train and escaping.

Police believe that in the same month, Mr. A broke into six subway car bases across the country, including Seoul, Daejeon, and Busan, with an accomplice of Italian nationality, and painted graffiti on trains.

After checking CCTV around the scene, the police requested Interpol for a red notice, and Mr. A was caught by local police in Romania on the 22nd of last month.

B's whereabouts are still unknown.

The police plan to investigate the details of the crime as soon as Mr. A is repatriated to Korea.
